About the Event

Come and enjoy the serenity of our space, bask in the beauty of the flower field and all the nature that it houses. Surround yourself in color and enjoy the peacefulness while cutting flowers.

When you arrive you will check in at the main shop, and pay. Cash is preferred, but we also take all major credit cards. You then will receive a cup to house the flowers that you pick. You are welcome to arrange them here in a vase that you bring or take them home to arrange in your own vase. We also have vases for purchase. If bringing your own vase, keep in mind the opening of your vase dictates the amount of material needed. The price for the U-Pick is based on the cup we provide you. You will have access to all our flowers, dahlias included which we will help you with. Each cup is entitled to three dahlias to mix in with your flowers, should you desire more dahlias the price is then per stem. Each cup also is entitled to one lisianthus stem. These high dollar flowers are our highest grossing blooms and cups are priced accordingly. If there are flowers that are off limits because they are for a bride or are not yet ready we will let you know. You will be provided with clippers-please return before you leave. If you have a favorite pair of snips you love feel free to bring them, but we must sanitize them first to not introduce any viruses or bacteria into our field. Feel free to peruse the shop during this time as well as it will be open for shopping.

Cost

$30 per cup (plus tax)-Availability is limited so secure your spot right away!

The cost is determined by the size of the cup, please do not pick flowers that do not fit inside your cup. Once your cup is full, please stop picking. We do not typically allow people to pick our flowers, this is a special opportunity and we ask that you be respectful of our guidelines. If you wish to pick flowers beyond the capacity of the cup, please let us know and you will be charged the cost of an additional cup We release a certain number of spots for these events based on the number of flowers available, please be cognizant of the other guests so everyone has access to the bounty.

We are watching the weather…if its misting we will still hold the event. Obviously if it’s lightning or pouring we will cancel.

This is geared to be a relaxing experience for patrons so only 1 person per reservation otherwise additional patrons will be charged the $5 “just looking fee.” Children 6 and under are free allowed to attend with a ticketed parent.

A few notes from us-Please read this in it’s entirety

• If you have bee allergies please be prepared and let us know

• Please wear safe shoes and be aware depending on weather it could be muddy

• If you are sensitive to plants you may want to bring gloves-your discretion

• We will be present to help with any questions-we believe in educating people so feel free to ask away!

• Restroom available on site

• You are allowed to come and go as you please but we will give you some tips and tricks for cutting at the start of the event so if you are interested in hearing that you will want to arrive promptly at the start of the event. We will make our best attempt to peruse the field during the event to answer any questions or provide help if need be. Otherwise, feel free to find us at the main shop for questions.

• Amateur and Professional photography shoots are not allowed during the event as it can be distracting to people trying to enjoy the space. Feel free to snap pics with your pals and of the flowers, but no staged photos please. If you are interested in booking the field for photo shoots you can reach out to us via email.

• This is a reserved event and quantities are limited to allow for all patrons to have space and peace, therefore the entry fee is for one person only.

• Please do not take this as an opportunity to pick all you can, we have worked hard to grow our flowers and they are our revenue to keep operations flowing. Pricing is based on capacity of the container.

• Per Wisconsin Statute 895.524(2)(a)2: A person who observes or participates in an agricultural tourism activity on this property assumes the risks inherent in the agricultural tourism activity. Risks inherent in the agricultural tourism activity may include conditions on the land, the unpredictable behavior of animals, the ordinary dangers associated with equipment used in farming operations and the potential that a participant in the agricultural tourism activity may act in a negligent way that may contribute to injury or death. The agricultural tourism provider is not liable for the injury or death of a person involved in an agricultural tourism activity resulting from those inherent risks.
