White Fence was just a dream and an experiment at this point. This was the beginning of an exploration into what I could do for my home garden. I had a passion for growing and designing and wanted a space to do just that.

Thankfully, I have an amazingly supportive husband, who has the inherent ability to bring my crazy ideas to life. We dove in head first building this greenhouse together. I am grateful that every single day, I get to look out my window and be reminded of how fortunate I am to have a partner in this life who encourages and supports my dreams and goals.

Our greenhouse is a symbol; A symbol of both my admiration and respect for my spouse and of inspiration-that if you set your mind to it, you can do anything you want in this life, it just takes some passion, love, and a whole lot of elbow grease.

This was the beginning of my flower farming dream, to sow seeds, tend them, and watch them grow into beautiful blooms and share the joy they provide us with others.

Now

There it is, our greenhouse in all of its glory. It is where the magic happens. Where the seeds meet the soil and sprout into tiny seedlings until they can go outside after our cold Wisconsin winter.

We start many of our seeds in the greenhouse, but also direct sow some seeds right out into the field. We are a small scale farm and strive to grow a unique variety of seasonal blooms and bouquet fillers to keep the flowers coming from spring to fall.

We utilize sustainable growing practices to promote the health of our plants and we pay careful attention to the health of our soil. We grow our flowers for a variety of markets from personal bouquets to event flowers.

We are constantly learning and adapting to our growing zone…what works somewhere else, may not work here and vice versa. We are learning about battling bug and disease pressure and are greeting the challenges of flower farming with open arms because ultimately we want to bring you an exceptional locally-sourced product.

It is important to us to create something for you to bring into your home, giving you the satisfaction of knowing where it came from and that it was grown locally on our farm right here in Milton, WI.

Next Up

We hope to expand our knowledge of growing practices, sustainability, soil health, succession plantings, and diversification.

We hope to expand our fields, to optimize our growing space, and to provide beautiful blooms season after season.

We hope to establish a community connection and teach those around us.

We hope to be philanthropic and use our skill set to give back.
